Jessie Dental Care ("we", "us", "our") operates a dental clinic at Ciudad de strike, 1 Molino Rd, Bacoor, 4102 Cavite, Philippines. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you book an appointment through our website or our Facebook Messenger booking assistant, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1. What we collect
When you book an appointment — on this website or by chatting with our Facebook Messenger assistant — we collect only:
- Full name — so we know who the appointment is for.
- Mobile number — so the clinic can reach you about your appointment.
- Email address (optional) — to send your booking confirmation. If you skip it, you still get your confirmation on screen or in chat.
- Service, date, and time — the appointment details themselves.
If you book through Facebook Messenger, we also temporarily process your Messenger user ID and your answers during the chat, solely to carry the conversation from one step to the next. We do not access your Facebook profile, friends list, or posts.
We do not collect government IDs, payment card details, or health records through the booking system, and this website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Why we collect it (purpose & legal basis)
We process your data only to:
- schedule, confirm, and manage your dental appointment;
- send you a booking confirmation (by email, if you provided one);
- contact you if your appointment needs to be changed or confirmed;
- keep a simple record of bookings for clinic operations.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the booking form or tap "Confirm" in Messenger, and the necessity of processing to provide the service you requested (scheduling your visit).
3. Where your data is stored

Our booking system runs on our own secured server. Access to the calendar and booking records is limited to the clinic. Google (Google LLC) and Meta (Meta Platforms, Inc.) act as service providers with their own security safeguards and privacy policies.
4. Sharing
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone outside the clinic and the service providers named above, unless required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Appointment records are kept only as long as needed for clinic operations and any record-keeping required of a dental practice, after which they are deleted. Messenger conversation state is kept only to complete your booking and may be cleared afterward. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).
6. How we protect it
- All booking traffic uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Booking records are stored in access-controlled accounts; only the clinic has access.
- We collect the minimum data needed — nothing more.
7. Your rights under RA 10173
As a data subject under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:
- be informed about how your data is processed (this policy);
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct any inaccurate or outdated information;
- object to processing, or withdraw consent;
- request deletion or blocking of your data;
- data portability and to be indemnified for damages from misuse;
- file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) — privacy.gov.ph.

8. Children
Appointments for minors should be booked by a parent or guardian, who provides the booking details on the child's behalf.
